Can I purchase more driving time for my child?
Yes, if your child has completed driver education with us, you can purchase additional driving time.
When can I schedule my child for driving?
Once your child has successfully completed the required eye exam, he/she will be assigned to an instructor, and you will be able to schedule the driving portion. We do not schedule driving until the eye exam has been completed.

At what age can my child start driver education?
State law requires that driver education students be at least 14 years and 6 months of age before the first day of class. No exceptions.
What if my child is sick and misses class?
If your child is sick, please keep them home. Any time that is missed can be made up.
Are there any plans for lunch during my driver ed course?
Students attending classes scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will be given a short lunch break. Students are welcome to bring their lunch and use our refrigerator and microwave. Parents are welcome to drop off food. Students are permitted to walk over to the coffee shop (It's Coffee Time) next door.
More information regarding lunch will be sent out before your child's class.

What do I take to the DMV?
A person testing for an NC Learner's Permit will need the following documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Document with name and address (bank statement, school transcript)
- Driver Education Certificate
- Driving Eligibility Certificate (This is obtained from your child's high school)
Where do I get a DEC form?
The Driving Eligibility Certificate is obtained from your child's high school or the Department of Motor Vehicles. Please check with the high school before attempting to obtain this form by visiting the school. Many schools require that you go through a standardized procedure to obtain this form.
Your child must be passing at least 70% of their previous semester classes to obtain the DEC form.
Can an adult take driver education?
If an adult (18 years or older) wishes to complete driver education, they should contact us at 910-899-9101. Before any behind-the-wheel instruction, adults must obtain an NC Learner's Permit.
