DMV Road Test Evaluation
In partnership with the North Carolina DMV, Southeastern Driver Training Center now conducts official road tests for customers all ages. Review the requirements, book online, and be on time.
Road Test Schedule
- Time slots: Every 30 minutes.
- Slots fill up fast! If you do not see available time slots, please call the office at 910-899-9101.
- Testing site: 5022-D Wrightsville Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28403
If you are 10 minutes late, you will need to reschedule.
Eligibility Teens
- Drivers must be at least 16 and under 18.
- Those who have no restrictions (indicated by a '0' in the restrictions field) or corrective lenses (indicated by a '1' in the restrictions field) on their Level 1 permit.
- Must hold a Learner's Permit for at least 9 months.
- Parent/Guardian consent is required at the time of testing. They must come with you to the road test.
Eligibility Adults
- Over-18 driver will need to have a Class A, B, or C non-commercial NC permit in their possession to road tests with our company.
- You will test in Class C vehicles with a certified DMV evaluator for eventual issuance of a Class C non-commercial license
- Those who have no restrictions (indicated by a '0' in the restrictions field) or corrective lenses (indicated by a '1' in the restrictions field) on their NC permit.
Fees & Payment
- Payment methods accepted: Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Check
- When to pay: Fees are due before the Road Test.
- Important: Passing is not guaranteed.
If you do not pass, you must wait 48 hours before you can register for another road test.
