Driving is a skill you’ll use for the rest of your life. The better you are at driving, the more you’ll enjoy your time behind the wheel.
That’s why the state of North Carolina requires Driver Education for everyone under the age of 18, and why there’s no better place to take this course than SDTC.
During our Driver Education course we’ll teach you everything you need to become a safe and responsible driver, from how to parallel park to how to change a tire. We also believe that students learn best when they’re having fun, so we work hard to create a positive and supportive environment for all of our students.

Note: Driver Education classes are made up of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a certified instructor. Students who will be 14 1/2 by the first day of class are eligible to take Driver Education with SDTC. It’s the responsibility of the parent/guardian to verify their student will be the required age prior to paying for registration as payments are non-refundable.
